Kin of the Black Furies
Scout of the Long Road Pack
Description
~An avid outdoorsman by all account, Dinos' fair complexion is clearly a case of skin that just won't tan. But with his short and messy dark hair and sky-blue eyes, that works better for the young man. Dinos appears to be just starting to climb his second decade. The Greek immigrant wears dark khakis, well-worn hiking boots, and a black nylon shirt. A bomber jacket may be donned, weather depending. But he often carries his heavy hiking pack hitched on his back, complete with folded pup tent and other camping gear. Though possessing an average build, Dinos is athletic and vigorous, yet relaxed and curious. There's a world out there yet to see before he folds to the fetters.~

History
Youth
Dinos Agnati had the benefit of being raised among his people, the Black Furies. He lived with this mighty Tribe of Garou werewolves in the woods not far from Katerini, Greece. Here stood the ancient and respected Sept of the Argent Bow. His mother, Nerissa Agnati, was a ranked Artisan deed-named "Peak's Song": she was a storyteller and singer of epic ballads, a classic Galliard. His father was pure-blooded Kinfolk named Eugeni. He was a healthy man who crafted a life in the Tribe's simple and traditional way, as a hunter and trapper of animals.
From the beginning, Dinos was exposed to the world of the Garou. He knew that his mother was a werewolf and he found her beautiful all the same. He grew up in a cabin home not far from the caern. He received an academic and practical education from his father. Through the werewolves' various connections to the government, Dinos' education was acknowledged with a diploma when his adulthood rolled around. Meanwhile, his mother told him bedtime stories, relegating the heroics and legends of the Garou. Dinos found them all fascinating, and secretly wished he could be Trueborn Garou sometimes so that he could fight beside his mother and her surrogate sisters.
Disenfranchisement
Of course, Dinos attended very few actual rituals and ceremonies of the Garou. It was considered taboo for Kin to see such solemn rites. He still believed in the gods his parents taught him about, namely Artemis and Gaia. But he wondered why these goddesses would permit such mistreatment of the male gender. His mother was always so very strict with his father, and some of the other werewolves of the Sept occasionally struck the man. Was he just some slave to be kicked around? On that notion, was Dinos just a slave to be kicked around someday soon!? The realization disheartened the boy.
Dinos spent most of his free time wandering the woodlands. He knew better than to stray where he wasn't supposed to. But he basked and reveled in the rest of his natural surroundings. This serenity was disturbed all the same. As he grew older, he worried more and more about his likely fate -- to be married off to some bitchy werewolf and be her slave for the rest of his life. Not his cup of tea! Dinos believed in equality. He believed men and women were equal. Besides, most of society shared this viewpoint, too. Sure, they were sick psychopaths out there who would rape and abuse women. But they were hardly representative of the whole male gender. The old gender conflict was fading fast. The glass ceiling was spider-webbed. It'd soon shatter completely, and then the ultra-feminist Black Furies -- his family -- would clearly be the ignorant and outdated ones!
On the Lam
So Dinos made up his mind to leave his family behind awhile. His mother and all the Sept trusted him. They trusted that the fidelity they hammered home over the years would prevent him from ever considering something so bold as running away. Dinos surprised them. He claimed to be out backpacking for a few days. He took his pack and tent and gear...but he didn't come back. In fact, he fled to the city. He'd only visited town a few times in the past with his parents. Dinos wasn't fond of the congestion.
But here he found a job washing dishes under an alias. Dinos scrubbed pots and pans for bottom (Euro) dollar. He made enough eventually to afford an airplane ticket. Dinos hopped on a jet and flew to the USA. Across the country, Dinos backpacked. He explored woodlands and mountains and fields. He followed rivers and enjoyed a broader countryside than even his homeland offered.
Dinos interacted with his fellow man little. He occasionally hitchhiked from one city to another. There he'd score a simple job for a brief time just to earn a few extra bucks. At least, Dinos developed his English beyond the rudiments his father taught him. When he enjoyed the wilderness, however, he definitely made it a point to avoid the Garou. He knew he might encounter other Tribes, and he wasn't sure at all how they would take to his current hiatus. He abandoned his family, after all. The young Kin had enough wood lore to know when he neared wolf or Garou territory. While traveling and exploring, Dinos was really searching for a meaning to his life. He wanted to help. He hadn't given up on the Garou or the Black Furies. But Dinos wanted to make a contribution without capitulating to their domineering expectations.
Significant Other
In late 2005, Dinos ran across Kelsey Banks in the Moon Lake Protectorate. How fortunate was he to encounter a liberal-minded Ragabash of all possible Black Furies out there he could meet! Though an "older woman", Dinos was still attracted to the woman's upbeat nature and optimistic predictions. She gave him shelter and the pair soon hit it off. No, they aren't picking out curtains yet, but Dinos figures…and really wouldn't mind…if Kelsey claimed him as her proper mate.

Weakness The Man
It's bad enough he's "merely human". In the Black Fury Tribe, he's a human male. That makes him almost worthless in their eyes, except as breeding stock. After all, if they let him do much else, he'll start thinking too highly of himself. Well, Dinos isn't about to live with that shit. He really wants to stay loyal to his family, but he fails to see how his family is at all loyal to him and his needs.
Likelihood of Corruption
Average.
Dinos is a decent young man. The problem is, he stays too distant from his Garou relations, his best protection against spiritual invasion and corruption.
